CAF Venturesome investee secures major sponsorship deal!

Congratulations to one of our charity clients, Big Difference Company, for securing a major sponsorship from TV channel Dave!

The Leicester based charity runs the annual Leicester Comedy Festival, as well as delivering arts and comedy to engage communities and deliver key messages throughout the rest of the year. 

 The charity’s landmark festival, now to be called Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival, has been running for nearly twenty years.  It has grown from 40 events over 7 days, to 370 shows across 50 venues over 17 days.  Last year’s event was enjoyed by 60,000 people.

CAF Venturesome has been working with Big Difference Company since August 2011, when they approached us with a short-term working capital requirement.  Within weeks of our first meeting, we were able to offer the charity a £60k loan to help meet their working capital needs.
